NEWSLETTER Join Bronx Healthy Start & BCHN at 'Strollin' for Life' TODAY!   The Bronx Healthy Start Partnership has teamed up with local elected officials and community-based organizations to present "Strollin' for Life" today from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Walter Gladwin Park.  The event will feature maternal health information,  giveaways and more!  The goal of Healthy Start is to decrease maternal and infant mortality and improve birth outcomes, which will hopefully lead to narrowing the health disparity gap.  Black, non-Hispanic women are 2-3 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women. "Cholesterol & Your Heart" Workshop at Belmont Library on September 29 The BCHN health education workshop series continues at Belmont Library with "Cholesterol & Your Heart" on September 29 at 3:00 PM.  We hope to see you there! Last Chance to  Get "Bx Fit" During Cycle 2  The second cycle of Bx Fit ends on September 29 at 7:00 PM.  BCHN and Marvel Fitness & Conditioning present virtual workout Bx Fit on Wednesdays in 8-week cycles.  The free 15-minute session is for people of all fitness levels and is followed by a Q&A with fitness coach N'Namdi Nelson.  Register for the Cycle 2 finale here.
